Aloha: Paradise Found in Palmdale

Challenge:

Moving from Hawaii to Palmdale, our homeowners started on some projects right away: stained concrete floors and new stairs. With that jump start, they were ready to remodel the rest of the house starting with the kitchen, which was dated and not functional for their needs.

Design:

The kitchen space was large enough to accommodate a large island. Quartz counters and tile backsplash were planned along with all new cabinets and appliances.

Build:

With the addition of an island, there was room to add a wine/beverage refrigerator at one end. The new cabinetry allowed for an appliance garage to house a coffee bar, microwave, and other appliances. A deep pantry with pull out drawers provided expanded storage. To contrast the white cabinets and Quartz counters, the island and bottom cabinets were painted a soothing shade of blue bringing a touch of the Hawaiian isles to the renovation.
