A Fresh Perspective on a Familiar Home in Lancaster

Challenge:

Having previously remodeled the family’s kitchen, we were honored when they returned to Lenton Company for their primary bathroom renovation. They had already selected and purchased the bathroom cabinetry, but the existing shower and flooring no longer reflected the calm, updated retreat they envisioned. Another important consideration was staying within a carefully planned budget while still creating a space that felt open, bright, and refined.

Design:

The key to transforming the room was looking beyond the finishes. The original shower was visually weighed down by a soffit overhead, making the space feel smaller and more enclosed than it actually was. By removing the soffit, we immediately opened the room, improving both the sense of space and airflow. To maximize the homeowners’ investment, we recommended a Bestbath shower system that provided durability, value, and a clean, modern appearance. A decorative tile accent stripe added just the right amount of custom detail, complementing the new tile flooring and tying the entire design together. A rain glass shower enclosure offers privacy while maintaining a light, airy feel, and dark hardware creates striking contrast against the softer finishes.

Thoughtful planning and smart product selections allowed us to deliver a beautiful bathroom while working with the homeowners’ budget. By combining quality materials with strategic design decisions, we created a space that feels larger, brighter, and more inviting while reflecting the serene aesthetic the family envisioned.
