Lacy learned the value of good customer service early in life, working alongside her parents at their restaurants.
“The service industry is in my blood and keeping the customer happy was the thing that has stuck with me,” she said. “Working through difficult situations while remaining cool and collected and client focused is a specialty of mine.”
She carried that collaborative spirit with her into her professional career as an architect in Los Angeles and Dallas, where she had the opportunity to work with many stakeholders on large-scale design projects and historic renovations.
She took a hiatus while growing her family—which now includes two daughters and son. Once she was ready to reenter the workforce, she was drawn to Lenton Company because of its commitment to customer service, and the opportunity it affords her to learn more about the building industry.
“Since part of my job is coordinating the work of the design team with the production team, it means that I get to work with the design team to understand their vision and help turn that into concrete plans, like estimates and orders,” she said. “I have discovered a passion for seeing a project physically created for a client. There is a satisfaction in construction that I never found in design.”
When she’s not working, you can likely find Lacy hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail in and around the Antelope Valley.
