build clean dust control for home remodeling

Clean Job Sites Are Safe Job Sites

build clean logoThe safety of our clients and crews on job sites is critically important. For this reason, we take great care in preparing job sites for construction by keeping them well-organized and ventilated. Controlling dust and debris is an essential component to keeping job sites safe.

Recent news stories like this one related to inadequate dust protection in countertop manufacturing have highlighted how dangerous it can be to inhale dust. When dust enters your body, it settles in three areas: the mouth, throat and lungs. This can lead to asthma attacks, allergy-like symptoms, as well as problems for people suffering from respiratory illnesses like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and others.

Lenton Company takes precautions at every step to avoid dust inhalation by insisting that our employees and trade partners wear respirators. We protect our clients by using dust barriers to seal off the construction area from the rest of the house, and we use a BuildClean unit whenever necessary.

BuildClean is an air filtration system that removes 90% of dust particles from the air.  Not only does it protect people and pets, it also prevents dust from traveling throughout the home to settle on furniture and in expensive electronics where it can wreak havoc.

Protecting our customers, team members, and trade partners from dust is one more way Lenton Company endeavors to deliver on our promise to provide a superior remodeling experience.

On October 3, 2019, we were pleased to host a mixer for representatives from the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce. The evening’s festivities took place in our Palmdale offices and included tasty appetizers, a variety of beverages, and lots of great conversation.

Robert Lenton, President of Lenton Company, gave an informative presentation on our design-build remodeling services. The festive occasion was capped off with several prize drawings.

We hope all of our guests had an enjoyable evening of networking and learning.

Lenton Company Celebrates 35th Anniversary

Over the past 35 years, since Lenton Company was founded by Bob Lenton, our company has evolved dramatically. Once a home-based handyman service, Lenton Company is now a design-build remodeling firm operating from professional office space in Palmdale, CA. Since 1984, we have upgraded our name and office space more than once. But more than our name and location have changed since the company was founded. Our team has been transformed, as well.

AV Press article from 2016 highlighting a move into our former office space, which we outgrew in just two years.

Now led by Robert Lenton, Bob’s son, our company employs a team of 11 remodeling pros serving clients across the Antelope Valley. While we have recruited a talented group, we are proud to be a family owned and operated business. In addition to Robert, his wife Evelyn recently joined the team as Chief Financial Officer. In 2010, Robert and Evelyn’s daughter Kendal was the third generation of Lentons to join the company and has worked her way up to her current position of Production Manager. To sustain our growth, Robert has invested heavily in training for both he and his team members. From enhancing production processes, to improving project estimating, Lenton Company operates with integrity and an eye on continual improvement. Our goal is to create home environments our clients enjoy so much that they return to us for additional work and are inspired to refer us to their friends. It would appear we are succeeding in our mission. Lenton Company has earned the Best of Houzz Award for Service excellence for the past five consecutive years.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of so many throughout our community. From our family, to our team members, clients, trade partners, chamber members, and more, we want to express our gratitude for your continual support. Thirty-five years is a significant milestone and we honor each and every one of you for your contributions to our success. Thank you! And here’s to another successful 35 years to come.
